Karin Bloomer
Ms. Karin Bloomer is MGT's Western Region Director. Ms. Bloomer has focused her ten-year career on improving the efficiency of government processes and maximizing the value of government services. During her six years at MGT, Ms. Bloomer has continued this pursuit by applying her analytical and communication skills to various projects, including those in strategic planning, performance measurement and management, business process reengineering, program evaluation, process analyses, facilitation, and training. She has assisted a wide variety of government departments in determining their operational and strategic effectiveness and utilizing performance measures and data to improve agencies’ mission-critical services and programs.
Prior to joining MGT, Ms. Bloomer worked at California’s nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office where she analyzed the Governor’s public health budget, researched policy and budget issues for the Legislature’s consideration, developed fiscal forecasts of health program caseloads and costs, estimated the state fiscal impact of ballot initiatives, and testified before subcommittees. Ms. Bloomer holds a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
